In an interview with Antony Taberna, one of the hosts of ABS-CBN morning show “Umagang Kayganda,” NBI Director Atty. Virgilio Mendez, encouraged them to surrender, according to him, they should come out and prove their innocence in the proper venue. Aside from the NBI director, DOJ Sec. Leila De Lima had also made an appeal to all the fugitives to surrender themselves and let the court decide if they are guilty or not. Read More…..

Vhong Navarro updates: Cedric Lee, Zimmer Raz will be in Manila this evening

Based on an interview of Ian Cruz to the DOJ secretary, Lee and Raz were arrested in Eastern Samar at around 11:15 a.m. (Philippine time). When asked about the whereabouts of Deniece Cornejo and the others involved in the Vhong Navarro mauling incident, the secretary refused to give anydetailed information but she insisted that the NBI and the PNP are still working hard to serve the arrest warrants to the accused. All of them are challenging not only the group of Cedric Lee but also the lawyer, Atty. Howard Calleja, who is now being criticized by Vhong’s supporters for his failure to present all his clients in the court and let the justice system decide if they are guilty or not. In his interview with reporters several weeks ago, the lawyer said his clients are very much willing to surrender and face the charges against them filed by actor-TV host Vhong Navarro, but like what the reports said, all of them are hiding and probably, not willing to surrender. Reports say their co-accused is willing to testify against them, and it was confirmed by Tony Calvento two days ago, according to him, DOJ Sec. Leila De Lima had given him the go signal to communicate with the possible state witness. Tony Calvento said the guy was crying during their conversation over the phone, but the netizens were shocked when the brave print and broadcast journalist confirmed that the possible witness in the Vhong Navarro case is very much afraid of Cedric Lee.
